Oliver Probst

Oliver is a science and math teacher with classroom experience across multiple middle and high schools in the DC area, Connecticut, and Virginia. He has taught a wide range of biology and general science courses and worked extensively with students in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
As a tutor, Oliver supports students in Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. He works with students rebuilding foundational skills, those seeking steady academic improvement, and high-performing students aiming to exceed grade-level expectations. He also offers focused, intensive summer sessions designed to prepare students for AP-level coursework.
In addition to his academic work, Oliver has coached rowing, led student-centered clubs, and worked in technology-focused summer programs. He believes that strong relationships, structured thinking, and confidence-building form the foundation of meaningful academic growth.
Ali Gavigan

Ali has served as a Mental Performance Coach at Springfield College and University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she helped students develop goal-setting strategies, stress-management skills, and effective performance routines. She currently works as a Performance Expert contracted by the U.S. Army, providing training and coaching at Fort Belvoir, VA. In this role, she supports individuals in strengthening resilience, enhancing communication skills, and performing effectively under pressure. Her work centers on helping individuals build the mental skills that support sustained performance and long-term success.
As an executive functioning coach, Ali works with middle and high school students to develop practical systems for organization, time management, emotional regulation, and goal achievement. She believes that academic success is not just about understanding content, but about building the habits, mindset, and self-regulation skills that enable students to apply what they learn with confidence.
